Tokyu Hands is one of my favorite place to hang around in Tokyo. 

You'd be able to find funky stuff, from toys to furniture. When I go back to Japan, Thomas and I always go there and spend quite long time in the store to find something very unique. 

Last year, we've brought back a stapler that staple papers without staples. We gave it to one of my colleague who always looking for his stapler in the office. 

Since we gave it to him, he never left it in the office anymore. (He's even bring it to home, not to lose!!) 

My friends gave one of the yellow matches (top left on the photo) before, but I couldn't use them, because it is too cute to use. I love those Japanese products. They are fun, crazy and so clever.

If you are planning to go to Japan, I'd like to recommend you to lost in the Tokyu Hands. 

  
東急ハンズは、日本で数ある店の中でも、私の最も好きな店の一つです。

ユニークな物がおもちゃから家具までそろうこの建物、本当に素晴らしいと思います。帰国した際には、私とトーマスも必ず立ち寄る場所。何時間もかけてフロアーをゆっっくり見るのが二人とも大好きです。

昨年帰国した際には、芯の要らないホチキスを、同僚に買って来てあげました。彼はオフィスで、いーっつもホチキスを探している人なのですが、このホチキスをお土産にあげてからは、なくすどころか、無くならないように家までもって帰る程。

以前、私も友人からひよこのマッチをプレゼントされた事が有ります。たかがマッチ、されどもこんなかわいいマッチ、使うに使えず、今でも大事にとっておいてあります…。
本当に日本人の創作物は素晴らしいと、海外に居るからこそ自信と誇りを持って言えるのは私だけではない筈です。
