apple pie

One of my favorite dessert is apple pie. Not apple crumble, apple pie.
A lot of my friends, my family, and few colleagues from Japan, they tasted my apple pie and all of them are addicted with my apple pie.
I still believe the apple from my grandmother's fields are best in the world.
They are huge, juicy, golden colour (we called it "honey") appears in the middle of the apple and full of love. Every winter, we receive massive box of apples from grandmother and whole winter her apples are every where in the house.
When spring comes, apples are despairing and we feel missing something...

This is one of my favorite and makes me feel "home" dessert.

I miss her apple very very much.

私の好きなデザートの一つにアップルパイがあります。アップルクランブルでもなく、アップルパイです。
東京にいた頃、友人や、家族、同僚に度々手作りのアップルパイを贈ったことがありましたが、今では、皆私のアップルパイの大ファンです。
私は今でも、祖母の畑でとれたリンゴが世界で一番美味しいと確信しています。
大きさと言い、とても瑞々しく、さくっと切った時に現れる金色の蜜の色と、そして暖かい日の光と祖母の愛情が沢山詰まったリンゴは他のどこかで買えるリンゴの味とは全然違うのです。
毎年冬になると、祖母から大きな箱に入ったリンゴが送られてきます。
そして冬の間中は、祖母のリンゴは一家のどこにでも登場します。冬が過ぎ、春が近くなるのと平行してリンゴの箱が消え、いつもなんだか少し寂しいような気になるのです。

アップルパイは、私に故郷を思わせる大好きなデザートです。

祖母のリンゴが、とても恋しく思う今日この頃。
