今月の初め、私の誕生日の週に、コペンハーゲンに行く事にきめました。
昨年一年間はほとんど休みがとれず、トーマスも私もかなり疲れが溜まっていたので、私の誕生日を機会に3日程ブレイクをとる事にしました。
After we checked into hotel, we went for lunch just around the corner from the hotel.
到着後、チェックインを済ませ、ホテルから歩いて5分ぐらいにあるレストランでランチ。
Local cuisine, smoked eel. Eel was served with egg+mayo and brown bread. I've never tasted smoked eel before but actually it was quite tasty.
ここでの地のものはスモーク鰻。
早速頼んでみました。一緒に来たのは卵サンドイッチの具？と思わせるものそしてトースト。
スモークした鰻なんて今までお目にかかった事はありませんでしたが、お味の方は…、骨も柔らかく、美味しく頂けました。
This is Thom's plate. I've told him "Why don't you try something local?!?!"
And took him so long to decide after... Sorry...
こちらはトーマスの。”もうちょっと冒険しなよー”と、私のだめ出しでやっと決まったのがこれ。ごめんね。
And finished lunch with schnapps like most of the people around...
お昼を済ませるにあたり、周りのお客さんと同様シュナップスをショットで頂きました。
We had lunch at this restaurant...
お昼を頂いたのはこの魚の樽が目印のレストランです。
After the lunch we took a boat and see those beautiful architecture from the river. Supposed to be rain today but we've got tan with unexpected sun.
お昼の後はボートに乗って市内を観光。
本来なら雨が降る予報だったのに、この青空。予期せぬ太陽にすっかり陽に焼けました。
In the evening, we had dinner at Umami, one of the restaurant we strongly wanted to go. I was very impressed with the sake menu at the restaurant. There is the sake even we can not get in London!! We had a bottle of Koro Junmai Ginjo.
そして夜は前から行きたいと思っていたUmami、と言うレストランで頂きました。
日本酒のメニューもありましたが、ロンドンでも手に入らないような銘柄もあり、感心しました。
ディナーのお供には、香露の純米吟醸を頂きました。
Second course Foie gras was amazing!!
2コース目のフォアグラは絶品! 本当に美味しかったです。
This pork was shockingly delicious!! After one bite both Thom and I were in culinary heaven...sigh.... Pork was served with buckwheat rolled with seaweed. I loved it!
そしてその後には豚のステーキ。これも本当に美味で、一口ほおばった私もトーマスも思わずため息がもれました。
こちらのお肉には蕎麦の実を海苔で巻いて揚げたものが添えられていましたが、これもとても美味しく、そして勉強になりました。
Sushi was in the very last course. Which I really liked to be served sushi.
お寿司は最後のコースに。やはり寿司は最後でなくては。うむ。
Dessert was also very good. Frozen yogurt, nuts, herbs and raspberry...etc it was extremely smooth dessert!!
もう何もかも美味しく頂きましたが、このデザートも見た目が素敵。ヨーグルトのソルベ、ナッツ、ハーブ、ラズベリー…色とりどりのこのデザート、ものすごく滑らかでとっても印象に残っています。
And the damage was....
そしてダメージはと言うと…。
Dinner was amazing and everybody really nice with us at the restaurant. I definitely want to go back!! Special Thanks to all staffs!
夕食は本当にどれも美味しく、そしてスタッフの皆さんからは素敵なおもてなしを受けました。また機会があったら是非リピートしたいレストランの一つです。
